We are looking to extend the current provision of support services in the activity, wellness and consulting rooms at Wishlist Centre to guests of the facility, health service staff and hospital patients, their family and their carers.

CALLING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Wishlist Centre is Australia’s first affordable patient, family and hospital staff support hub – offering hospital accommodation, primary healthcare and complementary therapies under one roof, opposite SCUH.

In addition to its 18 accommodation suites and commercial tenancies, the facility offers two inter-connecting activity rooms opening onto a sunny and comfortable balcony, a wellness room and a consulting room along with other shared spaces such as a communal kitchen, playground and outdoor communal areas.

We are looking to extend the current provision of support services in the activity, wellness and consulting rooms at Wishlist Centre to guests of the facility, health service staff and hospital patients, their family and their carers.

Consequently, Expressions of Interest are called for suitably qualified individuals and organisations to offer services at Wishlist Centre, be they for emotional, physical or psychological support. Services currently offered – but open to expansion – include massage therapy, facials, hairdressing and reiki.

Future options can be from a wide range of disciplines with a focus on calm, creativity & comradery.

Operational arrangements will be discussed with preferred applicants, having regard to the charitable nature of Wishlist’s work in supporting the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and the communities it serves.
